NAQP CW Contest this weekend

The NAQP CW is this weekend. It runs from: 1800Z August 2 to 0600Z August 3, 2008 (First full weekend in August).
For those not familiar with the NAQP, it is a contest where you work as many North American stations as possible during the contest period, plus KH6.

NN3SI to go QRT!

NN3SI is the ham radio station at the Smithsonian Institution. It has been a fixture for 32 years in an area called the “information age”

Is it time for ARRL to amend the club competition rules?

In ARRL contests, club competition is ruled by the ARRL rules posted here
According to those rules, there are 3 categories of club competition, Unlimited, medium, and local.
For unlimited competition,  a club can submit 51 or more entries, and the club territory is defined as a 175 mile circle from a designated center, or 1 [...]
