I’ve gone on two minor DXpeditions and just love LoTW! While some people really want the cards, the contact can be confirmed within days after the DXpedition ends (when I work the logs and do the upload).
I also upload the files right after a contest — significantly reducing the amount of time working on bureau cards two years later.
If you are not on LoTW, I’d really recommend it.
